Another call from Circlet Press. This time they’re looking for original erotic stories reminiscent of pulp fiction’s golden age. I know I’m supposed to be an MM writer, but I can’t stop thinking how fun it would be to pen some lesbian noir.
Length 3,000 to 7,000 words, more or less. Must have sci fi or fantasy elements. Payment is $25 for first electronic rights, and another $25 if a print anthology happens. Due July 1.
Some details from the original call:
We’re looking for erotica that reads like early-to-mid-twentieth century pulps! Think erotic Indiana Jones: adventure, romance, good guys and bad guys, with science fiction and/or fantasy elements. No steampunk, please! Diesel punk is welcome.
Length: Our preferred length is approximately 3,000 to 7,000 words, but we will consider the range from 2,000 to 8,000 words.
How to Submit: All submissions must be made via email to J. Blackmore, editor, at email@example.com.
