Today, Erotica for All featured an essay by Morgan Elektra, one of the Myths, Moons, and Mayhem contributors, about the connection between writing fiction and playing dress-up on Halloween. Morgan said,
Halloween is the night it’s acceptable for anyone and everyone to try on a different skin. (Though not literally.) One night a year, we pretend to be someone, or something, we’re not.
And then she tied that to storytelling in a way that punched me in the writerly feels. Seriously, I got a little teary at the end. (I mean that in a good way.)
